Time and itinerary planning and costs

☗ Reservations must be made in advance on the website, and the number of guests per time slot will be adjusted based on the base camp’s capacity.
☗ This experience provides a “Guide Cool Card” to accompany travelers during their self-guided experience. There will be no guides leading the way, but if you have any questions or need assistance during the experience, feel free to talk to the base camp staff—we’re happy to help.
☗ Fees:
980 TWD per person, uniform price for all ages for elementary school students and above
Children below elementary school age can enter for free, enjoy the space and tea, but must be accompanied and cared for by an adult of equal number for meals.
The fee includes a reserved seat, all-day tea service, hearty snacks, and a forest play kit.
If you are bringing an animal companion, please inform us in advance and bring a leash.

▼ By booking the experience and paying the fee, you agree to the following terms. It is recommended to read this information carefully before booking.
To process a refund, please notify the High Mountain Forest Base customer service via Line@ ,providing the booker’s name, reservation date, or order number, and the refund account.
If there is a land typhoon warning for the Hualien-Taitung area within five days before the activity date, you may directly apply for a postponement. If a marine typhoon warning is issued for Hualien County within three days of the activity date, the base will automatically cancel the event, and you may apply for either a postponement or a full refund.
If a heavy rain alert for Hualien County is issued within seven days before the event date, you may apply for a postponement at least two days before the event, and a new date will be set within a week based on availability at the base.
If the rescheduled date is also affected by a heavy rain alert within seven days before the event, you may apply for a full refund no later than two days before the event.
Heavy rain alerts and typhoon warnings are based on announcements from the Central Weather Bureau.
If the cancellation/refund is not caused by the base, the handling fee will be borne by the booker.
Refund policies will be appropriately adjusted based on actual circumstances and mutual interests. The High Mountain Forest Base reserves the right to modify these terms and the obligation to notify bookers.
▼ In the absence of the above-mentioned force majeure factors, the rules for [cancellation or change] and refunds are as follows:
- 95% refund for cancellations/changes made 15 days before entry
- 70% refund for cancellations/changes made 14-11 days before entry
- 50% refund for cancellations/changes made 10-8 days before entry
- 30% refund for cancellations/changes made 7-5 days before entry
- 20% refund for cancellations/changes made 4-3 days before entry
- No refund for cancellations/changes made 2 days or less before entry

FAQ
It is recommended to wear non-slip, dirt-resistant shoes (no sandals; if wearing sports sandals, please pair them with socks). Long pants are ideal for the lower body. If you wish to borrow rain boots from the base camp, please bring your own socks.
Please bring your own rain gear and towels. A light, hooded rain jacket is fine, but a full raincoat is better for walking in the forest.
In summer, it’s recommended to wear a hat for sun protection. There are no sand flies at the base, only regular mosquitoes, so simple mosquito repellent is sufficient.
For forest walks, you may bring your own drink container. The base camp provides water in barrels for you to fill.
Photos and videos can be taken in the main base area, but filming is prohibited once you enter the forest.
If you have any upper respiratory symptoms, please wear a mask within social distance to ensure everyone’s health.

- 辦理退款請傳通知至高山森林基地客服Line@，並註明預約者姓名、預定日期或訂單編號、退款帳號。
- 活動日前五日內宜花東若遇陸上颱風警報，可直接申請延期。活動日前三日內中央氣象局已針對花蓮縣發布海上颱風警報，基地將主動取消當日活動，您可申請延期或直接全額退費。
- 若活動日的前七天內，花蓮縣出現在豪大雨特報的名單中，訂位者可最晚於活動日的前兩天提出延期的申請，並於提出延期申請日起算的一週內根據基地預訂狀況約定新的活動日期。
- 若延期後的日期仍然出現活動日前七天內花蓮縣有豪大雨特報的狀況，最晚於活動日前二天提出取消預約全額退費。
- 豪大雨特報與颱風警報以中央氣象局網站發布內容為準。
- 若非因基地方所造成的退訂/退款，退款手續費需由訂位者負擔。
- 退費規則會依實際情況與雙方權益做出適當調整，高山森林基地保有修改的權利與通知訂位者的義務。
▼ 若無特殊上述不可抗力之因素，而需要【取消或更動】預訂與退款，規則如下:
- 入場前15日取消或更動活動可退款95%
- 入場前14~11日取消或更動活動，可退款70%
- 入場前10~8日取消或更動活動，可退款50%
- 入場前7~5日取消或更動活動，可退款30%
- 入場前4~3日取消或更動活動，可退款20%
- 入場前2日至當日臨時取消或更動恕不退款
- 下雨是基地和森林的日常，平日無安全疑慮的雨天歡迎一起泡森林賞雨景。別忘了自備雨具，更能安然享受在基地的時光。
- 若您的體驗同行夥伴有年紀大的長輩與年紀小的幼兒，請您於預定體驗前主動提供相關訊息，並透過Line客服與我們保持聯繫。長輩需能獨立短暫行走爬坡，幼兒請留意邊坡不奔跑，皆能放心在基地體驗。
- 若基地主動因天候或各項因素需取消，將扣除金流處理手續費後全額退費。

- 此活動接待4歲以上年齡層收費參與，未滿4歲不收費請同行大人照顧
- 如有未滿7歲的幼童，需有同人數比例大人一同參與
★長輩
- 只要能獨立短暫於陡坡移動5分鐘的長輩都可以報名參加。
- 至森林散步會有短暫的緩坡與突起的樹根，請留意腳步，路徑並不考驗腳力。
- 鞋子需確認防滑功能，搭配基地準備的簡易拐杖，遇雨須注意路面較平常濕滑也帶襪子可換穿基地雨鞋。
- 同團若有65歲以上的長輩建議有青壯年的親友同行。
