Camper Guidelines
Upon completing your reservation, you agree to comply with the following rules:
- Base Environment Features:
A. The campsites are not standardized. Please review the dimensions provided on the website to determine if the site suits your camping setup. Use only the allocated space and refrain from occupying public areas.
B. All campsites are open-air with no fixed rain shelters. Please bring your own tarps or rent them in advance. Last-minute rentals are subject to availability and staffing; it’s best to plan ahead.
C. The base is an outdoor natural environment located on terraced slopes. If you have children or elderly companions, please plan accordingly. Remind children not to run on slopes or throw stones. Be mindful of your own safety and that of other campers.
D. Parking and campsites are separate. A short uphill walk is required from the parking lot to the campsites, and RVs are not suitable. After unloading, please park in designated spaces to ensure clear access. The site provides 15 parking spots for campers.
E. The parking area is not standardized. Pay attention to safety when entering and exiting. Low-clearance vehicles should be cautious of the uneven terrain in the lower parking lot.
- Base Maintenance:
A. Please respect the plants and facilities. Do not break branches or climb trees without a guide. Avoid throwing gravel and be mindful of utility lines.
B. Sort waste appropriately into general trash, recycling, and compost bins.
C. Confirm the tent fastening method for your specific site when booking. For wooden platforms, use anchors instead of stakes. Other sites prohibit stakes longer than 30 cm.
- Base Prohibitions:
A. The base is private property and only open for reserved experiences and camping. We cannot accommodate guests other than those who have reserved a site. Do not bring unauthorized companions.
B. Smoking is prohibited at all campsites. Smokers should use the designated area behind the restroom in the parking lot. Dispose of cigarette butts and betel nut juice properly.
C. The base prohibits excessive drinking, drug use, and rowdiness. If these behaviors continue after warnings, we may ask you to leave without a refund, in cooperation with local authorities.
D. Do not wash dishes in the restroom to avoid clogged drains, grease, and odors. Hot water from the showers is for bathing only and should not be used at campsites.
E. Avoid using high-load electrical devices (such as heaters) to prevent power outages and hazards.
F. Do not damage or take items or facilities from the base. Violators will be held liable for damages and may face legal action.
G. During non-exclusive bookings, the ocean-view platform is a shared public area. Solo guests may rest and chat here, but cooking areas and personal belongings are not allowed. For exclusive bookings, refer to the related rules.
H. For campers bringing pets, please use your own tent and clean up after your animals. Ensure pets are on a leash to prevent them from wandering into the forest and getting lost.
I. Parties, karaoke, mahjong, fireworks, sky lanterns, or any activities involving light or sound effects are prohibited. After 9 p.m., keep noise to a minimum to enjoy the moonrise over the Pacific and the starlit sky, embracing the forest and sea.
- Cooking Rules:
A. All fire sources must be elevated off the ground. Use a fire pit, Dutch oven, stove, or pot on a heat shield at least 30 cm above the ground. Do not place hot pots or boiling water directly on the ground. Damage to platforms may incur a maintenance fee.
B. The base provides limited firewood for warmth. If you need stable cooking fire, please bring your own charcoal. Ensure ashes are cooled before disposal to avoid accidents.
C. A large communal refrigerator is available for storing food, but items must be fully packaged and labeled with your name. Please remove all items from the refrigerator before checkout. The base is not responsible for storage after departure.
- Check-in and Checkout Times:
A. On the day of arrival, please check in during the designated times: (Weekdays) 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., (Weekends, Holidays, and Peak Seasons) 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Late-night arrivals are not accepted. Arrive during daylight hours to familiarize yourself with the site and set up camp.
B. Checkout is by 11:30 a.m. the following day. For extensions, please contact the on-site manager the day before.
The base only rents out campsites and is not responsible for the safekeeping of camping gear, vehicles, or personal belongings. Please take care of your valuables to avoid theft or damage.
If you leave any items behind and wish to retrieve them, notify us within three days after your stay. Provide your shipping details, and we will arrange for the items to be sent via Black Cat delivery (cash on delivery) within a week.
